Greetings from Amur

Hello everyone, my name is Amur El, the founder of Combatercise Fitness Training & P.O.W.E.R. Martial Arts.

I'm also a sports nutritionist with a strong interest in cellular cleansing for fat loss and longevity.

I am currently working on a few projects including publishing a book through a self publishing company so stay tuned.

I am also publishing an eBook in a few weeks. My projects also include creating a workout DVD, a training manual and future plans of a continuing education course for health care practitioners. Alright, enough about me.

Martial Arts Demonstration July 25th @ 6:30pm—Location is Rays Splash Planet



 

BSR Modern Martial Arts will host a seminar based on knowledge of the martial arts being lost buy the popularity of UFC style training. 

We will be joined by several martial artists from different styles of the arts.  

This event will be held on 7/25/2008 @ 6:30 pm Sharp. Gi's must be worn to participate. All KZI members are welcomed to attend. This event will be recorded for a KZI DVD.


 

Guest speakers will include:

The fad of today's combative martial arts marketing is to down play traditional martial arts and how it's not for the modern world.

 
 

This depends on where you are in your training and the skill level of the instructor, like understanding KIA , forms (katas), stances & more. 

 
 

I was on the band wagon myself, bashing tradionalist about stances, striking, etc. until I took the time to explore, ask questions and experiment, now I see the value and interconnectedness between the two. It's inseparable.


 

You can't have the child without the mother and it takes the father to even make that possible. Well, today's MMA is the child I'm speaking about; Combative martial arts is the mother and traditional martial arts is the father. Hope that makes sense.
